Anyone who has attempted to change their hunkmegs in ET knows that it is the hardest thing to change. Most of the time you will only change to latched. If you get it to change then you actually have to do it in each of your mods which is a headache and time consuming, This is a simple way to fix for all the mods and the whole game.
Go to your ET shortcut on desktop(game application)and right click go to properties look for Target which will look similar to this:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory\et.exe"
then skip a space at end and add +com_hunkmegs 256 (make sure there is a space between parentheses and the +) this will be the end result:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory\et.exe" +com_hunkmegs 256
Hit apply and ok then its done.
com_hunkMegs sets the allowed memory for the graphics of the game.
Usage:
/seta com_hunkMegs 256
Values example: 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024 (of course it can be between them, higher or less also)
Note:
Don’t use more than 3/4 (75%) of your actual memory in your computer.
Usually 256 or 512 is fairly enough, even for the most complex enemy territory map graphics.
